Our stakeholder consultations and meetings continue without interruption. The fishermen survey component is now complete, and data is currently being processed. Simultaneously, our farmer surveys kicked off this week and will continue throughout July. As outlined in our previous report, we will collect the first samples from designated locations on July 24th. For this phase: TÜBİTAK (Turkey’s Scientific and Technological Research Council) will conduct initial analyses under a procurement contract, ensuring 100% operational reliability of data and equipment. A mid-sized vessel will be chartered for sample collection. We will perform seabed scans and capture seafloor videos using an underwater drone at specified sites. The underwater drone will be sourced from Mersin Metropolitan Municipality. All collected data will be processed immediately upon receipt, and reporting will commence without delay. Fieldwork will continue through late July, followed by a team break in August for annual leave.
