Over the past three months, the Portuguese OLAMUR team, comprising the Viana do Castelo Municipality and WavEC, has carried out the following tasks: 

1. As part of the work on the first deliverable, the Preliminary Feasibility Assessment, Wavec is conducting a desk-based analysis of available data to evaluate site conditions, species selection, and culture practices for the potential integration of low-trophic aquaculture with the WindFloat Atlantic offshore wind farm. 

1. The Viana do Castelo Municipality organized a three-party meeting in July with Ocean Winds to discuss potential collaboration on the OLAMUR project, followed by a four-party meeting with the Spanish Associated Region. Licensing issues, particularly TUPEMs, were identified as the main barrier. Ocean Winds expressed interest in supporting LowAWind project regardless of its internal efforts.
